PixelProof
Show why vector beats raster - and when a bitmap will fall apart. Upload a logo, set a target use, and drag the zoom to see pixelation.

PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG supported now. PDF/EPS/AI guidance only (no live preview).

Tip - Pixel grid helps show jagged edges when zoomed in. Smoothing simulates how browsers/players interpolate bitmaps.

Why vectors win - and when rasters are fine
- Vector formats like SVG, PDF, EPS, AI scale cleanly - lines stay sharp at any size.
- However, vectors can still contain embedded rasters - those parts will pixelate when enlarged.
- Raster formats like PNG, JPG, GIF have a fixed pixel size. Enlarge beyond their native size and you will see blur or blocky edges.
- For print, aim for 300 DPI at the final size. For large posters viewed at a distance, 150 DPI can be acceptable.
